LCCS is excited to welcome our new Head of School, Mark Earwood. Over the past 9 years, Mr. Earwood served in the same capacity at Faith Academy in Marble Falls, TX and Statesville Christian School in Statesville, N.C. In the years prior, Mark served as Spiritual Life Director, Athletic Director, taught social studies and Bible, and coached football and track. A published author, Mark is also an accomplished public speaker and active church member.
Mr. Earwood holds a B.A. degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and an M.Ed. from Angelo State University. Prior to his career in education, Mr. Earwood served in marketing and management for a natural gas company that is now known as Centerpoint Energy in the Houston area. His experience in corporate marketing and management along with classroom teaching, coaching, and school leadership created the unique platform from which God was preparing Mark for his future as our Head of School.
Mark and his wife of 29 years, Laura, have 3 sons: Ryan 27, Cyle 24, and Mitchell 21. The family enjoys the solitude of the mountains, whitewater rafting, sports of all kinds, and vigorous philosophical/political debate.
